spendthrift
ahha,my dad wasn't working today cos he went with my mum for some regular checkup and stuff,so after they came back in the morn, the whole family went out(dad, mom, sis,me if u didn't know).
ok this is going to be a recap of my shopping trip, and what i spent on.
it was simultaneous.it was unplanned.the pent-up feelings of the people suddenly erupted that day.wow, that was the russian revolution i'm sorry.ok,in a similar way,i didn't plan to do any shopping.i planned to just jalan-jalan to keep me occupied.it was when my sis was looking at jewellery that i started to itch..keke(oh ya it's suntec i'm talking about)
i bought this apparel, which was tagged 24.90 at a corner, and discovered it was $12 cos it belonged to some specials section which i didn't notice.and the shopkeeper gave me a pack of christmas cards!^^
then,my sis went to look at jewellery.i should be sian by right,at that moment, but no!i went inside also, trying to see if there were any i could buy.indeed,i saw some rings, perhaps the only non-feminine artifacts in that.i had set my eyes on this 'gothic' ring with some famous knot i'd seen in some.think it's called a pictish knot, but i'm not really sure.but my sis persuaded me the ring wasn't that nice.i saw that the knots were printed quite disfiguredly,so i relented and got some other ring, which was much more shinier than quite a few,and to my sis,the nicest there.fashion, which has always been the bottom of my priority hierarchy, was always left to additional consultants.i rarely took part in them, save the sake of opposition.the ring cost 16.90.ok that means it's not of precious metals, but well,if my sis says it's nice then it should be...placed it down on my nameless finger(the fourth personally).it's useless by way of elimination.thumb works as handphone operator(we are called the thumb generation instead of the finger generation cos of our handphone usage),index to accuse and poke:P,third to cuss and $#^@% , last finger to use as backup load carrier(for a very short while).so my fourth is nameless, and maybe today it will have purpose;but yes of the right hand only.
thereafter,my sis saw some chokers.she tried to get me to buy those in place of my silver chain(dog chain, quoth joel :P).no way,i have never liked chokers.i have a personal disregard of people who wear chokers(dun read too much, just means dun like chokers).so in an inquisitive tone i asked, what doesn't belong?that's something to do with chokers coming from africa and some website i went before.very racist.but i said that for the fun of it,i'm not a racist,i'm not my mom, i enjoy roti prata,i dun mock it,i'm just unlike her,and i'm gonna stay that way.
afterwards my mum and sis went to this fashion.knowing it would be a doggone time before they reemerged,i was lucky this time to have a bookfair beside it for me to indulge in.i bought 2 books, one was defying hitler, which is actually more of a factual recount of germany from pre-war years to post-war years.the author was 11 the time the great war ended(1918),so he tells how the expectations and emotions of his generation were.that's where i stopped.also, walter rathenau's assassination was not just something we learnt in the textbook.he was a great man, the germans considered.but just like bush,he was hated and loved by his people just as much.the other book was on the experiences of the ww2 fighter pilots.it's an amalgam of different pilots' stories on their missions.recounted by british, americans, germans, japanese.that's why it would be a good read.it's personal experiences, not just mindless bloodletting and slugfesting.defying hitler cost $6,war in the air $10.so that makes 16.
headed on,and somewhere where carrefour was based,i saw this british naval captain.he was an old steadfast man, whose vigour could still be seen emanating.with his sheet white uniform and shoes,he had decorations on his chest that made him look like an international citizen.he had 4 stripes on each shoulder.he looked just so majestic.wonder what he was doing there lol.
somehow i stumbled across tower records in there.wow,i even saw a room in there for classical music.so i ended up there in a while, and decided to get this cd with tracks i'd heard in the woodlands library about 2 or 3 times which were very nice.they're songs hahaha.but of the new age genre u would associate with enya and sarah brightman...u know..that kind...18.95 for that.
in total i spent 12+17+16+19=$64 approx.bitch,am i a spendthrift!
