intellect versus intelligence
yesterday while at ss lecture, i was so bored.but i went there with a purpose,that was to learn stuff.sounds lame,but it was the first time i had a goal for a lesson.it's due to my disappoiting results this time.well, i finally came to terms with what i usually did for ss.which was to just enter the exam thinking i had everything i had to get like 17 at least.serves me right,i was wrong this time.i knew very well that i had not the source-based questions' skills at all.they're all in a blur.which is why i'm currently preparing some sbq notes.i hope i can finish it soon...gimme ur comments if u get it from me:)
erm ya the lesson became boring and uninteresting in a while...so to entertain me and my adjacent friends,namely wei da and choon wee, i started scribbling in my 'atrocious'quoth:mr danny tan and 'aesthetically displeasing'quoth:me handwriting.so i started the paper with some notes actually lah...they were quite decent,until my vandalism screwed the whole paper up and down.don't know if it's ruthless babble,but this was what i jotted down.(added some views of a great friend:D)

-able to see big pictures/get approximate values, compared to -able to get A1s
-admired by majority, compared to -despised by intellectuals
-Don't have to tell people what they are made up of, compared to -think they are smart
-have generally better command of their languages, compared to -mediocre mastery of languages/or perhaps not bothered with such
-critical thinking a characteristic, compared to -good memory(read:muggers)
-u are slower in grasping concepts,but u catch up, compared to - u started before the siren went off!okay maybe more hardworking :P
-u are less focused on priorities and indulgence is quite a hobby though u deny it, compared to -u have ur goals nicely set before you,headstart again yup.
-you think you're an intellectual, compared to -you don't need to think;inapplicable.go mug.
-you're actually some social outcast, compared to -you look better than the typical intellect,perhaps that is why u are more popular than them.
-you're just a weirdo and u prefer people to call u by nicer names, compared to -everyone thinks you're normal; you know you're not.
-you specialise in some unique areas,which is why u will still shine, compared to -you're just a government clone;you know all the policies well,evidence of ur mugging prowess.

okay i just hate people who think they are intelligent.and i hate muggers!!!especially those imported goods with the imprint "made in (the Communist Republic of)China".why can't singaporeans study in peace amongst fellow singaporeans?why bring in people with those acid sweat and monk head smell(there ain't a proper term,i'm just basing on impressions :D), and those never brush their teeth before and after going to bed(or more mugging). i mean,i'm just presenting the truth in a very bad light lor.but truth hurts.yea not forgetting their mannerisms and hygiene kind of thing.maybe it's cos the educated Chinese in the cities know there's no need to send propagate themselves here.just that singaporeans like to recruit those countryside folks...
